Abortion has killed more humans than all wars in history.
1 out of every 67 deaths in the WORLD is an American abortion.
1 out of every 4 deaths in America is an American abortion.
Half of the deaths in the world are from abortions.
Abortion is the leading cause of death  in the world & kills as many people as ALL of the other causes of death combined.
Deaths from world abortions are 22 times the deaths in America (53,000,000 / 2,447,600 = 21.65).
We have lost more Americans through abortions (64 times more) than we did in all of our wars (12 wars) combined.
The D-day invasion of France (WWII) was the bloodiest in history. There were 53,714 allied soldiers killed in the "Battle of Normandy." Yet, our world kills more people than that in just 9 hours through abortions.
America lost 589 soldiers in its first year of fighting in the Iraq War. The world, however, kills more people than that in just 6 minutes through abortions.
The heartbeat of an unborn baby begins only 18 days after conception when the mother is only four days late for her first menstrual period, and by 21 days it is pumping, through a closed circulatory system, blood whose type is different from that of the mother. Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Reprinted from: Psychology Today - September/October 1998 -Volume 31,
No. 5, Pages 44-48, 78    Behaviorally speaking, there's little difference between a newborn baby and a 32-week-old fetus. A new wave of research suggests that the fetus can feel, dream, even enjoy "The Cat in the Hat." As if overturning the common conception of infancy weren't enough, scientists are creating a startling new picture of intelligent life in the womb. Among the revelations:
By nine weeks, a developing fetus can hiccup and react to loud noises.
By the end of the second trimester, it can hear.
Just as adults do, the fetus experiences the rapid eye movement (REM) sleep of dreams.
The fetus savors its mother's meals, first picking up the food tastes of a culture in the womb.
Among other mental feats, the fetus can distinguish between the voice of Mom and that of a stranger, and
respond to a familiar story read to it.
Even a premature baby is aware, feels, responds, and adapts to its environment.
By monitoring changes in fetal heart rate, psychologist Jean-Pierre Lecanuet, Ph.D., and his colleagues in
Paris have found that fetuses can even tell strangers' voices apart.
They also seem to like certain stories more than others. The fetal heartbeat will slow down when a familiar
French fairy tale such as "La Poulette" ("The Chick") or "Le Petit Crapaud" ("The Little Toad"), is read near
the mother's belly. When the same reader delivers another unfamiliar story, the fetal heartbeat stays steady.

Planned Parenthood is the number-one provider of abortions in the United States and the world. "-- Since 1977 Planned Parenthood has made $815 million from abortion procedures -- In 2000 alone, Planned Parenthood made over $68 million from abortion procedures."

Below is a picture of the feet of a 10-week old aborted unborn baby held by a doctor.

The next picture is an 11-week old unborn baby: The baby's
heart is beating (starting at 18-25 days). Brain waves have been
  recorded at this age.
At 40 days, the baby squints, swallows, can make a fist, has
fingerprints, kicks, is sensitive to heat, touch, light & noise, sucks
his or her thumb, All body systems are functioning. The unborn
baby weighs about 1 ounce, is 2 1/2 to 3" long and could fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.

By the end of the third month all arteries are present, including the coronary vessels of the heart. Blood is circulating
through these vessels to all body parts. The heart beat ranges during the pregnancy term from 110 to 160 beats per
minute. All blood cells are produced by the liver and spleen, a job soon taken over by the bone marrow. White blood
cells, important for immunity, are formed in the lymph nodes and thymus. Vocal chords are complete, and the child
can and does sometimes cry (silently). The brain is fully formed, and the child can feel pain. It may even suck it's
thumb. The eyelids now cover the eyes, and will remain shut until the seventh month to protect the delicate optical
nerve fibers. (Continued... This is an excellent site with illustrations.)

50% of abortions are repeat abortions for the purpose of birth control; and, women can
abort their unborn child at any time throughout all nine months of pregnancy. From Life
Matters: In the U.S., every 22 seconds a baby dies from abortion. That's 1.4 million babies
each year, and 4,000 each day. Since Roe vs. Wade in 1973, 40 million babies have died.
One out of every four women has had an abortion, and 43% of all women who have
abortions will have 2 or more.
